Looking Back and Preparing to Gather
Then Jesus laid his hands on his eyes again; and he looked intently and his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.
Mark 8:25
As we look back over this week, we remember that our Lord is both patient and thorough. He does not discard us when our understanding is incomplete, nor does he grow weary when we need a progressive work of grace. He takes us by the hand, leads us into truth, and perfects what concerns us.
Tomorrow we gather again with our church family as a community of believers. Like the people of Bethsaida who brought their friend to Jesus, we will bring our burdens, our family members, our prayers, and our worship into the house of the Lord.
Let us come with open eyes and expectant hearts, ready to worship the Messiah who sees us as we are and transforms our lives by his truth.
